About the course
Course content
The aim of the course is for the student to develop the skills needed to make successful oral presentations using drama and acting techniques for voice and speech.
The course deals with rhetoric and presentation techniques with a special focus on the use of different speech techniques and drama exercises. The course has two parts: in the first part, drama and acting techniques are used to develop the student’s awareness of their voice, body language, and speaking skills, as well as to apply these in oral presentations. The second part consists of memorization exercises and the execution of a monologue from a drama.
