Presentation
Shaun Nolan is a PhD in sociolinguistics and is a certified teacher (gymnasiepædagogikum, Denmark) in upper-secondary English and French language teaching. Shaun’s research is in sociolinguistics in educational contexts, language planning and language policy, and in language attitudes and ideologies. A significant part of his recent work involves the integration of Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) into language education. He investigates its potential impact in language teaching and learning, and its implications for the development of critical multimodal literacies.
