I am a PhD student in the didactics of science and mathematics and part of the interdisciplinary and the national research school Education, Learning and Globalization.

My dissertation project target how sex education takes shape in Swedish schools. The project focuses on the teaching practice by exploring memories and experiences of school staff and school developers. By doing so, the project craft out a form of institutional ethnography where I, among other things, am interested in how knowledge about the body, sexuality and relationships takes shape but also how they are conveyed in a teaching context. Through my project, I show how bodies are actualized, materialized, limited and excluded as knowledge objects but also as knowledge mediators.
