Presentation
I am working as as an assistant professor in media and communication studies at the School of Arts and Communication at Malmö University. My research interests are geared toward media history, strategic communication, and digital humanities.
In 2019, I received my PhD in media and communication at Umeå University on a thesis about the formation of governmental information in Sweden 1965–1975. Between 2019 and 2023 I worked as a senior assistant researcher at Humlab – the digital humanities center at Umeå University. I also have a background in film studies (major) and political science (major) – both from Lund University.
I am involved in four research projects:
- PI: Swedish Riksdag 1867–2022 (Riksbankens jubileumsfond, 2023–2025, https://swerik-project.github.io/).
- PI: Swedish Parliamentary Debates (Umeå University, 2023–2024, https://swedeb.se/public/index.html#/).
- Project researcher: Modern Times 1936 (Riksbankens jubileumsfond, 2022–2025, https://modernatider1936.se/).
- Project researcher: Welfare State Analytics (Swedish Research Council, 2019–2025, https://www.westac.se/).
