Presentation
Professor at the Department of Care Science. The main focus for my research and teaching is preceptorship and learning during clinical practice, collaborative learning and interprofessional education. I am the PI for a collaboration between the departments for Care Science and Biomedical Science, Research Informed Development of Higher Education(RIDHE) focusing interprofessional learning. I have initiated the development of an international didactic network Nordic-Baltic Network for Health Care Education (ENNHANCE),the work commenced spring 2019.
Within the framework of RIDHE, we are now conducting the project Setting Priorities for Research on Interprofessional Learning in Health Care Education, which aims to identify, with the help of students, teachers and clinicians, the most central research questions regarding interprofessional learning. Our method is inspired by the structure described by the James Lind Alliance.
Another collaboration in RIDHE is with the University of Illinios at Chicago where we have translated and tested the instrument IPECC-Set 9 . This is a self-assessment instrument for perceived self-efficacy for interprofessional competence. The Malmö team includes associate professor Malin Axelsson, senor assistant lecturer Jenny Jakobsson and professor Anders Kottorp.
Together with colleagues at the University of Central Missouri, we are translating the instrument Cap-ExpresSTM, which aims at self-assessment of supervisors' perceptions of how prepared they are to supervise in clinical practice. The research team in Malmö also consists of associate professor Mariette Bengtsson and senior assistant lecturers Jenny Jakobsson and Elin Taube. The instrument will be psychometrically tested for use in a larger international empirical study.
