Presentation
Anne Harju, has a PhD in social work and is today an associate professor in children and youth studies at the Faculty of education and society. In the recent years, she has held positions as a researcher, lecturer and head of department at Malmö university. Her research is oriented towards childhood studies and the understanding of children’s everyday lives, with a specific focus on children and young people in vulnerable situations and on childhood in preschool and school. She has also conducted studies within the field of higher education and urban studies with focus on children in the city. She is an experienced researcher within the action research field.
