Once you have received your login you can search for talking books in Legimus. You listen to the books using a reading program on your computer or using the Legimus app on your mobile.
If you already have a Legimus account, you do not need to book an appointment for a walk-through, unless you do not want to. However, you need to transfer your account to Malmö University Library. Send us an email with your name, e-mail, and birth date to talbok@mau.se and we will take care of it.
You do not need a certificate in order to get help with talking books.
When your account is created, you are able to listen to books from Legimus in various ways.
- At the webpage https://www.mtm.se/english/
- With the Legimus app on your phone or tablet
- With the program EasyReader on your computer
If you do not find your course literature in Legimus, you can order a new recording. This applies to obligatory course literature or literature that you need for your paper.
Be sure to order well in advance. It takes around 6-10 weeks to record a talking book.
Information about mandatory course literature is to be available no later than the date the course or program opens for registration. After the registration opens no changes to the syllabus are allowed. For more information, visit Students Rights and Responsibilities, and the policy document The Rights and Responsibilities of Students at Malmö University, pages 3-5.
