The library for the General Public
for the General Public
Even if you do not work or study at Malmö University, you can use the Library. However, you must be at least 18 years old to obtain a library card, borrow books, and use the computers in the library.
Get a Library card
If you want a library card, you are welcome to one of our three libraries. Please bring valid identification.
WiFi, computers, and printing
You need a visitor account to log in to the library’s computers and print. You can get this from the IT support at Orkanen Library or Health and Society Library. You can also turn to IT support if you have issues with WiFi, how the printers work, or any other computer-related matters.
WiFi
The university’s wireless network is called Eduroam; you can connect to this network using your guest account. Add @mau.se to your username [username@mau.se].
If you don't want to create a guest account, log in to the open wireless network Mauguest instead.
