Meet the student behind the camera
My name is Karenina, but here in Sweden people usually call me Karen. I am originally from Indonesia and I have been studying at Malmö University for almost three years now. I am doing a full bachelor's program in Human Rights.
The reason why I chose to study in Sweden is mainly because of these three things: I want to know how it feels to live in a Nordic country, country with a good welfare system, and a country that has good human rights protection and Sweden checks three of them! Besides studying, in my spare time, I enjoy doing photography and videography.

Meet your podcast host
I’m Sanjay Thompson – a criminologist, communications specialist and Malmö University Alumni. I have a bachelor’s in Psychology from UWI Mona, a Master’s of Science in Criminology from Malmö University. Currently I am pursuing a PhD in Medicine at Lund University. I’m also an avid performer and fitness lover.
I created my podcast, Wise Grad, to help students positively engage in their studies. Students have a lot of fun, but they also go through many issues from depression and anxiety to feeling completely lost and overwhelmed with academia. There are also times we have no idea what step to take in advancing our lives or career. All we need is a push to get the ball rolling. Wise Grad is your guide! The podcast compiles real stories, practical information, and resources in hopes of helping students thrive all year round
