Department for Police Work
Police Work
The police programme at the Department for Police Work is offered on behalf of the Swedish Police Authority. Continued professional development is also provided at the unit for various social stakeholders, including the Swedish Coast Guard and the Swedish Police Authority.
Education at the Department for Police Work
Police work has a multidisciplinary basis. The education includes perspectives on police work based on subject areas such as law, criminology, health sciences, behavioural science, social work and political science.

Research at the Department for Police Work
Police work has a multidisciplinary basis, and is studied on the basis of subjects such as law, criminology, health sciences, behavioural science, social work and political science. One central field of research is the evaluation of police methods.
